All Power Labs is delighted to announce that Dr. Dan Kammen has agreed to join APL, as the founding member of our Board of Directors.
We are deeply honored by this engagement, as there are few who can match Dr. Kammen’s breadth of experience and expertise in the area of access to renewable energy. 
As Founding Director of the Renewable and Appropriate Energy Laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Kammen has been a world leader in research to improve energy access, and has traveled widely to see first hand the challenges and opportunities of delivering affordable, reliable, clean energy.
He has written extensively on the concrete steps we need to take to address climate change, and how to tailor solutions appropriate to the communities they serve. He also served as a contributing or coordinating lead author on various reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change since 1999, for which the IPCC shared the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.
So to have him join our team is both a significant addition to our resources, and a great affirmation of the strength of the path we are on with our technology. We look forward to working with him in the years ahead.
