We’ve made great progress on the performance, reliability and usability of the Power Pallet during 2014. However, we’ve been rather remiss in relaying the technical specifics of this new engineering work in recent APLnews posts. Now at the end of the year we want to offer a series of written reports and online demos to reveal what we’ve been up to under the hood.
This Thursday, December 4th, as well as next Thursday, December 11, we’ll be hosting a live, global, 24-hour web cast and demonstration of running Power Pallets from APL’s headquarters in Berkeley, California. The camera on the running machine will go around the clock. During each session, we’ll have dedicated call in times for live question and answer with APL engineers and sales staff. For those of you who have not been able to get to a physical demo site, we hope this is a useful second best option to see the machine running first hand.

End of Year 10% off sale on the PP20 Power Pallet
In keeping with yearly custom, we’re again offering an end-of-year discount to tempt those who’ve been sitting on the fence and debating when to start their adventures in biomass thermal conversion. This year the enticement we’re offering is a 10% discount on the PP20 Power Pallet.
A 10% discount means $3,000 off the standard $29,995 price of the basic unit, and $4,000 off the standard $39,995 price of the Grid Tie unit. We hope this is meaningful help for those who have been struggling to afford a machine. As always, purchases of Grid Tie packages include a free onsite set up visit. (Note: these discounts are for the PP20 “Open Skid” units, not the recently introduced PP25 CE enclosed units.)
To receive this discount, orders must be placed within the next two weeks ( by December 15th) via a 50% deposit. The discount will disappear after this deadline and we’ll return to regular pricing.
